Ignes captures the atmosphere of the Faugni night ritual, which takes place before the winter solstice in Atri (Angela's hometown). The scent symbolizes rebirth and mystical cleansing through pure fire. The winter solstice is the longest night of the year, experienced in one breath, mystical waiting for spring. Ignes is a fire smoldering under the ashes, reaching beyond the modern world into an eternal ritual of rebirth, lighting bunches of reeds at dawn to challenge winter and let us know about the green spring waiting.
